DETOX GINGER SALT BATH

My grandma from the old country  told me about the benefits of an Epsom Salts bath.

Hot water opens the pores, allowing perspiration to take toxins away, as well as increasing absorption of nutrients such as magnesium and sulfate (in the salts), which help generate enzymes that clean up the body. It's so cheap to do your body good.

I am going to try to detoxify my body with a  Ginger ~Epsom salt bath - It's said to  get rid of toxins and  helps neutralize acidity in order to get healthier and a great skin, lose weight, helps absorb the minerals and nutrients that are in the water, and just simply overall good health.

A very helpful solution after x-rays, airplane travel or radiation exposure, or for advanced detox and relaxation.

All you'll need is:

- 1 cup of Epsom salt

-2 cups baking soda
- 1/8 cup of ginger (powder from the local store or grated)

-1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
-lavender essential oil (just a few drops )optional
- hot water
- 40 minutes
Fill the tub with water as hot as you can tolerate without burning your skin.
Add ingredients and swoosh around with your hand until mixed.

(I take a vitamin C capsule before my bath to help toxin removal).
I do this 3 times a week, but use your discretion.

Here are some useful tips...

- after taking the bath try to avoid using lotions, perfume, or any chemical toxin, even nail polish.

-while you are taking the bath drink filtered water, as well as after your bath. This helps your insides release toxins. Did you know your skin is considered your third kidney?

-best when done before bed, as you may feel fatigued, achy, dizzy as well as sweaty.
This is all good....it's your body getting rid of all the nasty stuff and will subside in a couple days.

-After the bath, dry brush your skin with vegetable  brush. This helps  stimulate the lymphatic system, which can aid with the release of toxins.] Use long, gentle sweeping strokes aimed toward the heart.

-Don't eat immediately before or after the bath.

-Do not  detox bath if you are pregnant, or have heart, kidney, diabetes or any other health issues.Ask your doctor.

Beware of side effects you may get after your bath, everyone is different. I get dizzy, headache, bad breath, and usually get a boil or two as well as acne and extra trips to the bathroom. It's not pretty for a couple days, but knowing the yuck is exiting my body makes it sooo worth while!
Other side effects may include cranky moods, insomnia, muscle soreness and  or general weakness.feeling anxious and restless.

You may feel worse before feeling better.

You have to remember that the number of years of introducing toxins into our body can not be easily resolved by a mere short detox period.

These baths can be done a couple times a week, but not every day, also make sure to clean your tub really well in between uses.

You should never stay in the detox baths  longer than  forty minutes.  If you do your body will start to re-absorb the toxins that came out in the bath.
